Logical was engaged by a local Freight Forwarding and Customs Broking company to provide them with a review of their current insurance program. This company has locations in Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne. In addition to the forwarding and clearance work, they also offered warehousing facilities and local transport services, utilising their small truck fleet.

We arranged to meet the Directors and key persons for a discovery meeting. and during that meeting, we learned that their program was a jumble differing policies, with multiple expiry dates during year. The program was sourced with 2 insurance brokers, plus a number of policies purchased “on-line” with insurance companies directly.

We developed a strategy to work with insurers that had the flexibility to offer competitive coverage based on our in-depth understanding our client’s business, and achieve premium savings with the help of the external risk management consultant and report.

We were also able to provide a more relevant insurance program which was easily understood and better managed by our client.

Logical was invited by a Sydney CBD based restaurant to provide them with a review of their current insurance program.

The reason for invitation was that they had received a poor experience with their existing insurance provider in relation to a claim which wasn’t settled to the restaurateur’s satisfaction.

We met with the restaurateur to undertake a discovery meeting. The restaurant has a relatively high turnover and employs over 60 staff and occupies a prime location with breathtaking views across Sydney Harbour.
